Become a Member
Membership is the simplest way to put your name behind what this community stands for. As a member, you get voting rights in KRRC elections, a reduced rate on Recreation Building rentals, and the knowledge that you're directly supporting the spaces and programs people and visitors of Knife River enjoy.
Annual Membership Fees*
Individual — $15
Family — $25
*Membership designee must be at least 18 years old. One vote per membership. If you have a membership question email us at membership@kniferiver.org.

Volunteer
The KRRC is entirely volunteer-led, and there's no shortage of ways to get involved. Whether you want to get outside and work with your hands or bring a fresh idea to the table, we'd love to have you.
Some ways people pitch in:
Trail & beach maintenance — keeping Knife River's most-loved outdoor spaces clean and safe
Event support — helping hands at community events and celebrations like Julebyen
Recreation programming — help develop or lead activities and programs for kids, families, or all ages
Donate
Not everyone has time to volunteer, and that's okay. A financial contribution goes directly toward maintaining facilities, funding programs, and keeping this community thriving. With no city budget to fall back on, every dollar makes a real difference. Donations to the KRRC are tax-deductible, and no amount is too small.
