Up for a hike? The KRRC maintains a public hiking trail along the upper Knife River. The trailheads are located at the end of East Shilhon Road and a mile up Hawk Hill Road. The trail traverses through a variety of tree cover from young to mature forests with wonderful views and access to the upper Knife River. The recently added trail extension provides a loop trail that leads to a panoramic overlook of Lake Superior. Click on the trail map button to plan your next hike.
